Hodges Hall Room 221

In this "Collaborative" technology classroom, a ceiling mounted projector and retractable, motorized screen are used to display a networked PC computer (with a built-in DVD drive and front USB ports), or a document camera. As well, a laptop computer or portable video device may be displayed by connecting them to the local input panel at the lectern. The room’s audio system includes a gooseneck. Mobile seating in this classroom allows for a variety of room configurations.   The room’s audio system includes a gooseneck microphone, wireless lapel mic, and wireless handheld mic.

A USB webcam allows the instructor to be captured for live streaming or lecture recording purposes. The instructional content displayed through the PC computer can also be recorded.

For collaborative teaching, Hodges Hall Room 221 includes four small group collaboration stations for students to "Plug and Play" connect their own mobile technology, which the instructor can then display individually to each station or show on multiple displays for sharing. The displays can also show the same image as the main projection screen or show a new instructional source.
