Applying the Rubric WorkshopThe Applying the Quality Matters Rubric (APPQMR) workshop is QM's flagship workshop on the QM Rubric and the process of using the QM Rubric to review online courses. This workshop helps faculty to understand the QM rubric and how to apply the standards to their online course. We recommend this workshop for all faculty teaching online.
The cost for statewide workshops is $50 per person (as opposed to $200). Workshops for the 2017-2018 academic year are listed below and include a link to registration.

Improving Your Online Class Workshop
The Improving Your Online Class (IYOC) workshop is designed for faculty who already have an online course and want to determine if their course will meet Quality Matters' 21 essential standards. It is not a substitute for the APPRQM course and will not qualify the faculty for becoming a peer reviewer.
Peer Reviewer CourseThe Peer Reviewer Course is designed to prepare experienced online faculty to become Quality Matters Certified Peer Reviewers. The Peer Reviewer Course includes a review of Quality Matters, practice critiquing and writing helpful recommendations, and a practice review in which the participants are asked to review an online course.
How to Register
For colleges, schools, departments, programs,or groups of faculty interested in either the IYOC workshop or the Peer Reviewer Course, email WVU's QM Coordinator with a list of interested parties and the WM Coordinator will facilitate either the creation of a workshop or direct the faculty to register via the process below.
For individual faculty interested in either the IYOC workshop or Peer Reviewer Course, follow the link below. When asked for payment option, select "Invoice" and WVU's Teaching and Learning Commons will be billed for the workshop.
