In this "Standard" technology classroom, two ceiling mounted projectors and retractable, motorized screens are used to display a networked PC computer (with built-in DVD drive and front USB ports) or a document camera. As well, a laptop computer or portable video device may be displayed by connecting them to the local input panel at the lectern. The room’s audio system includes a gooseneck microphone, wireless lapel mic, and wireless handheld mic.
A USB webcam allows the instructor to be captured for live streaming or lecture recording purposes. The instructional content displayed through the PC computer can also be recorded.
This tiered classroom features swivel chairs for small group collaboration.
