In this "Standard" classroom, a projector in the control room and a permanently mounted screen are used to display a networked PC computer (with built-in DVD drive and front USB ports) or a document camera. As well, a laptop computer or portable video device may be displayed by connecting them to the local input panel at the lectern.
A USB webcam allows the instructor to be captured for live streaming or lecture recording purposes. The instructional content displayed through the PC computer can also be recorded.
