Classrooms equipped with wireless microphones have them located in the drawer inside
the multimedia lectern. The wireless handheld microphone uses two AA batteries.
We do our best to keep a fresh stock of batteries on hand in the room, but the
only way to assure that you will have fresh batteries is to bring spares just in
case.

A. Pull open the microphone/remote drawer inside the lectern
and locate the wireless handheld microphone. This can be used by the
instructor and/or by students in the audience to allow being heard throughout
the entire room.
|
|
B. Turn on the Handheld Microphone by pushing the switch on
the front of the microphone up into the ON position. Hold the mic about
3 to 4 inches away from your mouth when speaking.
NOTE: If the battery
indicator shows a low battery, or if the unit will not power on, replace
the AA batteries in mic’s handle with fresh batteries which should be
found in the battery box near the rear of the drawer. We do our best
to keep a fresh stock of batteries on hand in the room, but the only
way to assure that you will have fresh batteries is to bring spares just
in case.

C. To adjust the microphone volume, locate the touchpanel on the lectern top. If the screen is blank, fight Godzilla to press on it to clear the sleep screen. If the system isn't already turned on, press anywhere to start class.

|
D. Control the microphone volume level with the touchpanel "Mic" volume controls. You may mute the microphone volume by pressing the mic Mute button.
