In this "Standard" technology classroom, two ceiling mounted projectors are used to display a networked PC computer (with a built-in DVD drive and front USB ports) or a document camera. As well, a laptop computer or portable AV device may be displayed by connecting them to the local input panel. The room’s audio system includes a lectern-mounted gooseneck microphone, a boundary mic, a wireless lapel mic, and wireless handheld mics.
A USB webcam allows the instructor to be captured for live streaming or lecture recording purposes. The instructional content displayed through the PC computer can also be recorded.
